ETK N-Series

"A today's classic." (Lore) In 1985, Einfluss Technik Kraften (ETK), famous for their luxurious but sporty cars, started the development of an european Version of their american 4-Door-Series I. During that time, many ideas were gathered regarding the design as well as further changes to fit the average european customer. Especially their previously much loved edgy styling and basic tech got mentioned and re-used in multiple of these. However, their goal of not just keeping up with, but rather to surpass the competition couldn't have them reuse the existing I-Series as it was. After 1,5 years, the team responsible to keep internal communication up-to-date could finally present the news for their beautiful and timeless ETK-typical design and numerous european-market fitting changes for their novelty - the N-Series was born. "The goal was to reach a new level of enthusiasm with this car. It reminds the average person, that a car is not just for driving, but it can please the eye in a way only ETK can accomplish. A today's classic", says the head of ETK in 1987, when the car got first publicly presented at the Internationale Automobile Messe (IAM). "The entirely boxy design got scrapped and was replaced by well-considered rounded areas. We developed an entirely new 5 cylinder diesel engine, customized the car so a loving mother as well as a busy clerk could enjoy driving the Novelty-Series", he says. The first ETK N-Series got delivered to their customers in 1988 and was continued until 1992, got a facelift and was built until 1996. It's trim levels reached from relatively low standards up to luxurious limousines for heads of states in Germany. Up until this day, the ETK N-Series from these years of manufacturing reaches the hearts of many car enthusiasts, known for their timeless design and robust technology, altho the well-known oil leaks of these cars aren't only a memory of the past. About this mod (information) I was not happy with the vanilla I-Series' design, therefor I simply changed everything that bothered me and added parts that I liked. The N-Series features: redesigned front end redesigned rear end redesigned roof and roof line classic and facelift parts a new i5 diesel engine with special parts newly designed ttSport and offroad parts plastic and painted lip kits special spoilers different fender flares customized exhaust notes and sounds special interior designs a new trim level - the Sportstern a reworked trim system a german police and a custom classic skin most of the I-Series parts and some with special changes and much more!
